In your first class, you’ll be introduced to basic techniques like punches, kicks, and footwork. Expect a mix of cardio, strength training, and skill-building exercises. Don’t worry if you’re a beginner—our instructors will guide you through each step, ensuring you’re comfortable and confident as you learn.
Wear comfortable workout clothes that allow you to move freely, such as a t-shirt and shorts or leggings. As you advance, you might consider investing in hand wraps and gloves, but we can provide those for beginners.
No prior experience or specific fitness level is required to start kickboxing. Our classes are designed to accommodate all levels, from complete beginners to experienced fighters. You can work at your own pace, and our instructors will tailor the training to your current fitness level.
For beginners, we provide all the necessary equipment, including gloves, pads, and bags. As you progress, you might want to purchase your own gloves and wraps for comfort and hygiene. Eventually, you may also consider investing in shin guards, a mouthguard, and other personal gear.
The frequency of your training depends on your goals, but most beginners start with 2 sessions per week. Consistency is key to seeing improvements in fitness, strength, and technique. As you become more comfortable, you may choose to train more frequently.
